We already knew that Supernatural was planning to unveil its version of the Tooth Fairy in this season’s sixth episode.
Now, it’s seeking an actor to actually interact with this unusual individual.
According to a casting notice the show sent out, Supernatural is seeking someone to play the role of Jesse, described as:
An all-American boy age 11 who is wise beyond his years. He was adopted as an infant and remains perplexed by his unusual powers. He possesses a childlike innocence - he believes in the Tooth Fairy. He suddenly finds himself faced with a very adult decision. Recurring role.

In Wednesday, Watch With Kristin broke the news that Paris Hilton would be guest-starring on “Supernatural.”
This season on the show, Sam and Dean Winchester will be facing down the Satan himself and the Apocalypse. Could the arrival of Paris, in Episode 5 of Season 5, be the scariest aspect of “Supernatural’s” End Times?
Headband Actually, as is so often the case on “Supernatural,” the whole thing has a comedic side to it. I got a bit more info from creator/executive producer Eric Kripke and executive producer Sera Gamble regarding the starlet’s appearance on the CW show, which returns Sept. 10.
“If anyone ever wanted to see a bloodthirsty Paris attack and kill somebody, this is your chance,” said Kripke, who added that he was “quite frankly shocked that Paris agreed to do it.”
“We wrote the role just for her,” Gamble said. “We’re very excited that she said yes. She plays the role of a demonic creature that takes the form of… Paris Hilton. If you know our style, you know we go pretty funny and irreverent with this stuff, so–expect that. The fact that she wanted to do the episode speaks volumes about her sense of humor. She’s flat-out awesome for playing along. You’ll see.”

The creator of Supernatural has billed season five as “the war everyone’s been waiting for.”
What does that mean for Jim Beaver’s character of Bobby?
A major twist, the actor told E! News. He said:
“There’s something pretty big that happens with Bobby in the first episodes. Really big. It’s going to have a huge impact on his relationship with the boys—but I don’t know what that impact is, because I’ve only seen the first three scripts.”
Supernatural returns for season five on September 10. It will follow the series premiere of The Vampire Diaries.

Neither Jared Padalecki nor Jensen Ackles could make it for the Supernatural panel at Comic-Con last week.
But executive producers and writers Eric Kripke, Ben Edlund and Sera Gamble satisfied fans’ cravings for season five scoop by dishing on a number of topics. Below, we’ve excerpted pieces of what each show runner had to say about events to come…
Kripke on Castiel: Castiel’s totally, totally screwed in season five. Things didn’t end well with him and the archangel that came down. I can say that throughout episode one he is dead and exploded into gorey smithereens. He’s on the run, he’s fallen, they’re hunting him down, he’s cut off from where he was, he’s lost, alone and scared with the guys.
Everyone’s totally boned as they are trying to stop the apocalypse from happening. There’s basically about four good guys against the universe, trying to stop the apocalypse.

Edlund on Dean’s storyline: We’ve been working on the notion that both of them have these massive responsibilities that they’re going to step into. Dean’s role has moved on from being the guy driving the car. He’s gone from chauffeur of destiny to a sad participant in destiny. He’s going to have important things to do—that’s one of the areas I was supposed to be pretty coy about, though. Try another angle! Let’s see if we can get at it!
Gamble on Lucifer’s role: He’s definitely the big bad of the season. I would compare it to Lilith in that you saw her sometimes, you heard about her a lot, you met her minions, you met her right-hand man. You might actually see Lucifer a little more than you saw Lilith, the last couple of seasons.
And we have a great actor cast, Mark Pellegrino, and I don’t think Lucifer wants to go back to hell. I think that’s the last place he wants to go, but he’s walking the earth and causing trouble throughout the season.

Nicki Aycox is out, Rachel Miner is in, but the result is the same: Meg Masters, the sassy demon with a major grudge against the Winchester brothers, is coming back to Supernatural. Originally played by Aycox, Miner - who got her start on Guiding Light and was most recently seen as a bisexual character on Californication - is taking over character; she was last seen in season two.

“I’ve been wondering, what Meg’s doing out there,” series creator Eric Kripke told TV Guide Magazine. “I’ve been continually asking the writers, ‘Where’s Meg?” She’s would make a really formidable adversary. I got impatient and ended up writing her into my own script.”
At the moment, Miner’s been signed for only one episode.

News are sprouting on “Supernatural” casting side. After the revelation that Adrianne Palicki will be back as Sam’s ex Jessica, an actor is found to portray the Devil. This villain will be a big story arc for the fifth, and possibly final, season of “Supernatural”.
Filling the role of the Devil aka Lucifer is Mark Pellegrino who is also a familiar face on “Lost” and “Dexter“. It is unknown whether the new role will have any effect on Mark’s stint on “Lost” because his character on the ABC series, Jacob, is still active. He is listed on “Supernatural” as “heavily recurring cast”.
In the casting call, Lucifer is described as “soft-spoken, strangely sympathetic, more vulnerable than evil and should have piercing eyes.” In the fourth season finale, Lucifer escaped from hell but his face was not shown.
Fifth season of “Supernatural” premieres on The CW September 10.

Mark Pellegrino’s career is on fire. Literally.
Sources confirm to me exclusively that the actor — who was unmasked as Lost’s enigmatic Jacob at the end of last season — is joining the cast of Supernatural as none other than the Prince of Darkness himself, Lucifer.
Lucifer was released from hell in Supe’s season finale last month, although we never caught a glimpse of the little devil’s face. All of that will change when Pellegrino debuts in the show’s Sept. 10 season premiere.
So, does this mean we’ve seen the last of Jacob on Lost? An ABC rep couldn’t be reached for comment, but here’s a potential clue: Pellegrino isn’t joining Supernatural as a full-time series regular; his status is listed as recurring. You do the math.
Thoughts on this red-hot piece of casting? Sound off

This should take some of the sting out of Adrianne Palicki’s impending Friday Night Lights departure: The actress has signed on to reprise her role as Sam’s ill-fated ex, Jessica, on Supernatural!
As you know, Jessica was whacked by a demon in the Supernatural pilot. She reappeared at the end of season 2 during Dean’s genie-granting alternate reality head-trip, but hasn’t been seen or heard from since.
Details regarding Palicki’s return engagement are being kept under lock and key, but this much I can tell you: She’s booked for one episode and it’ll air early in the season (but not the season premiere).
Confirmation of her Supe comeback comes just days after EW.com broke the news that Palicki had landed the Jennifer Grey role in MGM’s Red Dawn reboot. She’s also expected to return to FNL this fall for a multi-episode arc to wrap up Tyra’s story.
Short-story-shorter: Girlfriend is busy!

TVGuide.com: Turning to Supernatural, I understand an intervention of sorts is coming for Sam….
Beaver: Bobby and Dean will get together to plot out a way to save Sam from himself. Now that he’s got this demon blood addiction, that’s very troubling to them. But then again, Dean and Bobby don’t completely agree on how to handle it, and things get heated between them as well.
TVGuide.com: What’s Bobby’s take on the brothers’ growing rift?
Beaver: I think he shares Dean’s concerns about Sam, but Bobby’s always had a pretty good insight into Dean as well, about how much guilt Dean carries for not living up to what he thinks his father would have done. You’re going to see Bobby try to help Dean with that, even in the midst of trying to resolve things with Sam.
TVGuide.com: Has this proven to be some of the more interesting work you’ve done on the show?
Beaver: Yeah! They keep giving me great fun stuff to do, and there are some luscious scenes coming up - really strong stuff between me and Jensen [Ackles] in particular. The fans are going to get satisfaction, pretty strongly, from these last few episodes.
TVGuide.com: But to balance out that good, there is buzz that Bobby might meet his maker by season’s end. Do you have any words of reassurance for your fans?Beaver: Hmmm… Words of reassurance… Boy, I wish I had some!
TVGuide.com: Maybe, “If Bobby goes down, it won’t be without a fight”?
Beaver: Well, nobody takes Bobby down easy!
TVGuide.com: What three words would you use to describe the season finale?
Beaver: Intense … astonishing … and intense again. People are going to have some of their expectations toppled.
