In the next “Supernatural“, Sam, Dean and Castiel track down the Colt and head off to find Lucifer to send him back to Hell. It’s a hunters’ reunion when the crew joins forces with Bobby, Ellen and Jo for what could be their last night on Earth.

The episode is called “Abandon All Hope” and it will boast the guest starring appearances from Alona Tal, Samantha Ferris and Mark Sheppard. The first two reprise their roles as Jo and Ellen respectively while Mark makes his debut as Crowley. The episode will air on November 18 as the last episode of 2009 and the show is scheduled to return with originals on January 14.
Talking about the episode that will leave fans hanging, Misha Collins aka Castiel told Huffington Post that there will be a huge showdown between him and Lucifer. “Well, as with the Devil’s trap, which is used to trap demons, there is, actually, as we’ve discovered on the show, Angel trapping technology, that I introduced to the show. It’s a ring of holy fire,” he explained.
“And Lucifer ends up using my own tricks against me and interrogates me, in a way. Basically, Lucifer tries to persuade me to join his ranks as a fellow Fallen. A fellow rebellious angel. It’s quite a face off.”

The CW’s sexy creepy Supernatural kicked off its fifth and possibly final apocalyptic season last Thursday, and one question hangs in every fan’s mind: Will we see the return of John Winchester (Jeffrey Dean Morgan), the hellbound dad of demon hunters Sam (Jared Padalecki) and Dean (Jensen Ackles)?
Since we last saw Daddy Winchester, of course, Morgan has exploded into a big-time movie star with a breakout starring role in Zack Snyder’s Watchmen and upcoming parts in several big Hollywood movies.
But Morgan told a group of reporters (including SCI FI Wire) last week that he’d love to make a return, although he hasn’t yet been formally approached.
“I just read somewhere that [series creator Eric] Kripke wants me back,” Morgan said. “That guy, I think he’s probably lying, but if it is, in fact, their last year, I’d like to come back. If it really is going to be canceled after this year, I’d like to come back. I’ve been saying for the last four years that that storyline got cut out too soon. I’d love to go back for at least one episode or something. I love those guys. I love Jared and Jensen so much. We’ll see. No one has contacted me.”
What about rumors that Kripke may ultimately reboot the series with a new cast? Morgan gladly offers his two cents.
“I heard that, too, getting new actors and everything,” Morgan said. “Jared and Jensen wouldn’t even be in it. I can’t imagine Warner Brothers saying, ‘Yeah, that’s cool. You can get rid of Jared and Jensen.’ They were going to, like, take on secondary characters, maybe. I just don’t see that happening. If you take out Jared and Jensen, you’re going to lose 90 percent of your audience, probably. I can’t imagine them doing that, but it makes for a great [story] if you say that kind of stuff. I can’t imagine that. Warner Brothers is just like, ‘Yeah, whatever, dude. We’ll see you next year.’”
“But yeah, I’d love to go back,” Morgan added, flashing that 1,000-watt grin. “I don’t know how I’d find the time, but we’ll see.”
Supernatural airs Thursdays at 10 p.m. on The CW.
What do you think? Should Kripke bring back John?

TWO DEAN WINCHESTERS? — Sam (Jared Padalecki) tells Dean (Jensen Ackles) he wants to rejoin Dean in the battle of the Apocalypse, but Dean tells Sam that they are better off apart. Later, Dean awakens five years in the future in an abandoned city and is attacked by humans who have been infected with a demonic virus that turns humans into Zombies. Zachariah (guest star Kurt Fuller) appears to Dean and explains that this is the world that exists as a result of Dean saying no to helping the angels fight Lucifer. Dean meets up with Future Dean, who tells him that the virus is the Devil’s endgame for destroying mankind. Misha Collins also stars. Steve Boyum directed the episode written by Ben Edlund.

The creator of Supernatural has billed season five as “the war everyone’s been waiting for.”
What does that mean for Jim Beaver’s character of Bobby?
A major twist, the actor told E! News. He said:
“There’s something pretty big that happens with Bobby in the first episodes. Really big. It’s going to have a huge impact on his relationship with the boys—but I don’t know what that impact is, because I’ve only seen the first three scripts.”
Supernatural returns for season five on September 10. It will follow the series premiere of The Vampire Diaries.

We’re all waiting for the Supernatural season 5 premiere on September 10, and while we wait, there’s some tantalizing stuff to whet your appetite.
Though Wikipedia isn’t the most reliable source on the Internet, its Supernatural season 5 page contains episode titles and writers listed for the first six episodes of Supernatural. Take these with a grain of salt, but this could be what we have to look forward to.
Supernatural Season 5, Episode 1:
“Sympathy for the Devil“
Written by Eric Kripke
A Rolling Stones song? Hell yeah, I can already see the awesome rock song “previously on” montage, and it excites me.
Supernatural Season 5, Episode 2:
“Good God, Y’All“
Written by Sera Gamble
War, what is good for? Absolutely nothing, but for Supernatural season 5, the war between the Winchesters and Lucifer should be amazing, especially with a Sera Gamble episode.
Supernatural Season 5, Episode 3:
“Free to be You and Me“
Written by Jeremy Carver
It looks like the first three episodes will be written by the same great writers who wrote the first three episodes of last season, and with another title taken from popular children’s entertainment (like the Sesame Street ode with “The Monster at the End of This Book”) the writers are definitely cooking up something strange.
Supernatural Season 5, Episode 4:
“The Douchebag of Oz“
Written by Ben Edlund
I’m not sure I fully believe Supernatural would use the word “douchebag” in another episode title, but if they do, I completely believe that Ben Edlund should write it. If this is true, it looks like we’ll get three serious episodes, followed by a lighter one.
Supernatural Season 5, Episode 5:
“To Hell and Back“
Written by Cathryn Humprhis
Humphris has written for every season, most recently with season 4’s “Sex and Violence.” With this title, it sounds like Lucifer’s origins could be explained as early as this episode.
Supernatural Season 5, Episode 6:
“Misery of Heaven“
Written by Andrew Dabb and Sera Gamble
Dabb joined the writing staff last season, collaborating on episodes like “After School Special” and “Jump the Shark.” Following an episode with “Hell” in the title, this one could explore the opposite side, delving into Zachariah and possibly revealing God, who Eric Kripke promised would be a character this season at Comic-Con.

In the fourth season finale of Supernatual, a peeved and demon-blood addicted Sam was responsible for freeing Lucifer from his hellish imprisonment. Oops!
In an interview with TV Guide Magazine, Supernatural creator Eric Kripke speaks on what Lucifer’s return means to the show and, well, the world…
On season five: “It’s basically that the angels and Lucifer (Mark Pellegrino) and the demons are just beginning the long foretold Apocalypse from the Book of Revelations. It’s the war that everyone’s been waiting for for thousands of years. Humanity is unfortunately caught in the middle. Our heroes object to that.”

On the show’s time frame: “We pick up from the finale, where we left off with the boys in the chapel with the portal to Lucifer’s cage opening and Lucifer rising. We show the next few subsequent seconds after that and then continue the story from there.”
On the return of Meg: “She’s a demon. She has a really powerful grudge against the boys. They have history together. She would be a really formidable adversary. Where is she?” Finally, I got impatient and ended up writing her into my own script. It’s Mardi Gras for Meg and demons like her. Their demonic Lord and Savior has returned and so it’s party time for demons.
“As far as they’re concerned, Dean is the only threat to that and so we really ratchet up the tension yet again this season. Pretty much every demon in Hell and on Earth is out gunning for Dean Winchester, because he is pretty much the only one who can destroy basically their Lord and Father.

Check out three preview clips from SUPERNATURAL’s new episode, “Monster Movie,” which airs on Thursday, October 16, at 9pm on The CW.
This is the famous
Black and White episode that I have been looking forward to ever since I heard about it at Comic Con. Can’t wait!
Synopsis: An homage to the
black and white monster movies of the 1930s, this episode finds Sam (Jared Padalecki) and Dean (Jensen Ackles) investigating mysterious murders in a small town during its annual Octoberfest celebration. In circumstances that seem strange even to the Winchesters, all the evidence in the case seems to point to Dracula, the Wolfman and the Mummy as being the prime suspects. Shot entirely in black and white, “Monster Movie” was written by co-executive producer Ben Edlund and directed by executive producer Robert Singer.
