Rachel Miner: Coming to Supernatural as Meg Masters
ByNicki Aycox is out, Rachel Miner is in, but the result is the same: Meg Masters, the sassy demon with a major grudge against the Winchester brothers, is coming back to Supernatural. Originally played by Aycox, Miner - who got her start on Guiding Light and was most recently seen as a bisexual character on Californication - is taking over character; she was last seen in season two.
“I’ve been wondering, what Meg’s doing out there,” series creator Eric Kripke told TV Guide Magazine. “I’ve been continually asking the writers, ‘Where’s Meg?” She’s would make a really formidable adversary. I got impatient and ended up writing her into my own script.”
At the moment, Miner’s been signed for only one episode.
