‘Supernatural’ Finds Its Lucifer in ‘Lost’ Actor

News are sprouting on “Supernatural” casting side. After the revelation that Adrianne Palicki will be back as Sam’s ex Jessica, an actor is found to portray the Devil. This villain will be a big story arc for the fifth, and possibly final, season of “Supernatural”.
Filling the role of the Devil aka Lucifer is Mark Pellegrino who is also a familiar face on “Lost” and “Dexter“. It is unknown whether the new role will have any effect on Mark’s stint on “Lost” because his character on the ABC series, Jacob, is still active. He is listed on “Supernatural” as “heavily recurring cast”.
In the casting call, Lucifer is described as “soft-spoken, strangely sympathetic, more vulnerable than evil and should have piercing eyes.” In the fourth season finale, Lucifer escaped from hell but his face was not shown.
Fifth season of “Supernatural” premieres on The CW September 10.
